<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game device that executes a game in which the character of a player plays against the character of another player during an event period and returns upon the event period ends. <P>SOLUTION: Upon receiving a combat-event execution request, this game device 14A determines the outcome of a combat event on the basis of first character information D1 for the player in question and another player and transmits the outcome to a terminal device 12.
