<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat transfer tube having excellent productivity, low in production cost, excellent in heat transfer performance, and has a leakage detection function. <P>SOLUTION: An inner tube 2 which is cylindrically shaped and whose outer surface is a circle is inserted into the inside of an outer tube 1 which is formed into a tube axial orthogonal cross sectional shape and whose outer surface is a polygon to apply diameter reduction work on the outer tube 1. Accordingly, the outer tube 1 and the inner tube 2 are connected at a side of the polygon of the outer tube 1 and a void 4 is formed between the outer tube 1 and the inner tube 2 at an angle of the polygon. The void 4 has a leakage detection function at the time of forming a hole in the outer tube 1 or the inner tube 2 and a contacting part 3 has a heat transfer function. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
