The brake has spindle/nut arrangement with spindle and nut (36) that is moved to press friction element against rotor. The spindle and nut are engaged with each other through spindle and nut screw threads (38). An effective length of spindle/nut arrangement is extended with respect to relative rotation between spindle and nut in order to transfer pressing force to brake piston. The lubricating solid-state device (74) made of graphite, polytetrafluoroethylene and molybdenum disulfide is positioned in spindle/nut arrangement and is in contact with spindle or nut screw threads.
