The device has a spine part (3) including a first shaping, gearing profile (4) and second shaping gearing profile (5) that is provided at a distance form the first gearing profile. The second gearing profile includes lateral edges with a tapering spacer, and lateral tooth flanks are transformed to a workpiece (1) i.e. sleeve shaft, and formed by the first gearing profile. Width of teeth of the workpiece is partially reduced by the second gearing profile, where the teeth of the workpiece are manufactured by the first gearing profile. An independent claim is also included for a method for non-cutting-axially transforming internal gears to a workpiece.
