<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrical connector for a circuit board capable of inserting a flat conductor without requiring power for inserting it, without damaging a hooking bracket. <P>SOLUTION: An elastic arm part 37 of a metal member 30 includes a locking protruding part 37A which can be locked to a locked part C2 of a flat conductor C, and a pressurized part 37C which receives force from below. A movable member 40 includes a second cam part 44 that can pressurize the pressurized part 37C. When the movable member 40 is at an open position, the locking protruding part 37A is positioned leaving a space of the thickness of the flat conductor C or more from an upper side inner wall surface 12A. In the process of moving of the movable member 40 from the open position to a closed position, the pressurized part 37C is pressurized by a cam part 44, so that the elastic arm part 37 increases upward elastic displacement amount. When the movable member 40 is at the closed position, the locking protruding part 37A is positioned in a receiving space 11, being possible to be locked to the locked part C2 of the flat conductor C, and the interval between the locking protruding part 37A and an upper side inner wall surface 12A becomes smaller than the thickness of the flat conductor C. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
