A front sub-frame structure for automobiles is provided with: a pair of left and right side members to which arm support members for supporting suspension arms are attached; a cross member disposed between the left and right side members and connecting the portions of the side members at which the arm support members are mounted; and an inclined member extending rearward to the left and right of the vehicle from a central part of the cross member in a vehicle width direction while being inclined outwards in the vehicle width direction. To the rear of the inclined member, tunnel lower frame connecting portions to which the rear end portions of the side members are joined and which are connected to tunnel lower frames disposed along lower side portions of a floor tunnel of a floor panel, and floor frame attachment portions attached to floor frames extending in the front-rear direction of the vehicle along the floor panel are disposed.
