<p>Disclosed is a method for determining user validity. The method comprises: a VMS receiving a trigger message of a user; the VMS obtaining, from the trigger message, information of a position and/or information of a state of the user when the user initiates the trigger message, and obtaining actual position information and/or state information of the user from a network element of a core network; the VMS determining whether the user is valid according to the information of the position and/or information of the state of the user when the user initiates the trigger message and the actual position information and/or state information of the user; the VMS further deciding whether to allow the user to access a voice/video mail and then executing the decision result. Also disclosed are an apparatus for determining validity of a user and a mail access system for a user.</p> |
