The dual clutch gearbox (1) has dual clutch (8) with input shafts (EW1,EW2), countershafts (VW1,VW2) and gear wheels (Z1-Z18) which form gear stages (ZP) and switching elements (S1-S10) for switching gear wheels. The gear wheel stages (ZP2-ZP8,ZPR) formed in six wheel planes on input shafts and countershafts are switchable to form nine forward and two reverse gears. One of input shafts is linked with gear wheel stages (ZP2,ZP3,ZP5), gear wheel stage (ZP4,ZP5,ZP8) and gear wheel stage (ZP3,ZP4,ZP7) to form first, ninth and tenth gears respectively.
