FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to cardiology and pulmonology, and concerns treating the patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and ischemic heart disease and cardiac failure complicated by anaemia. For this purpose, pre-treatment haemoglobin and serum iron are evaluated. In that case, if the hemoglobin level is less than 110 mm/l, and the serum iron level is less than 5.85 mmol/l, the conventional treatment involving ACE inhibitors, beta blockers, diuretics, antiaggregants, statins as well as salmeterol and berodual, is added by prescribing an anti-anaemic therapy with Epocrin and Ferrum Lek. Epocrin is administered in a dose of 50 IU/kg subcutaneously 6 times a week; Ferrum Lek is administered in a dose of Fe 100 mg in 5 ml intravenously twice a week. The therapeutic course is 3 months.EFFECT: this dose schedule of the preparations provides reducing a length of treatment by improving the central haemodynamics, and enhancing the respiratory function.2 ex |
