System for modifying the carrier frequency

The system has a determining unit for determining two carrier frequencies (101) that are respectively associated with each of a set of signals on the basis of two consecutive and continuous time intervals. The time intervals belong to a sequence of known duration. A temporal correspondence is established between each end of the time intervals of the sequence, and time intervals of another sequence. The determining unit determines the carrier frequencies in a synchronized manner for the signals on the basis of the time intervals. An independent claim is also included for a method for modifying a carrier frequency.
