ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Electronic control module (10) for a vehicle comprising a control circuit (12) including a controller (14), a reprogrammable memory unit (16), an input pin (18) allowing reprogramming of the reprogrammable memory unit (16) by connection of the input pin (18) to a reprogramming device providing a reprogramming signal, and a boot circuit (20) allowing implementation of a module boot loader procedure, characterized by said boot circuit (20) being connected to the input pin (18) and being designed such that boot loader procedure is triggered when a negative voltage signal is applied to the input pin (18).
