PURPOSE: An electric vehicle is provided to protect a battery with a battery guard unit collided with a protrusion of a road when the protrusion of the road is collided with a vehicle body. CONSTITUTION: An electric vehicle comprises a vehicle body(2), a motor, and a battery(400). The vehicle body comprises a floor(210), a tunnel unit(220), and battery guard units(250,260). A height of the tunnel unit is higher than the floor, and a part of the battery is inserted into the tunnel unit. The battery guard unit protrudes from between the tunnel unit and the floor to the lower side and protects a side of the battery. A ground clearance(H1) of the lower part in the battery guard unit is formed in order to be lower than the ground clearance(H2) of the tunnel unit and the ground clearance(H3) of the floor. The motor generates driving power rotating a vehicle wheel. The battery supplies power needed for driving the motor. |
