A display device is provided to display images through a solar light indoors in the daytime and display images through a light generated from a lamp assembly in the night, thereby displaying the images which consume low power. A display module(20) faces an inside surface(12) of a transparent support member(10). The display module includes a display unit(25) for displaying an image, and a receiving case(27) for receiving the display unit therein. The receiving case has an opening for guiding a first light to the display unit through the inside surface of the transparent support member. A lamp assembly(50) is disposed within the receiving case to generate a second light. A light-diffusing unit(30) is interposed between the support member and the display module to diffuse the first light or the second light. The support member is a transparent glass substrate. The light-diffusing unit is a diffusing plate for diffusing the first light or the second light. |
