PURPOSE: A push type locking device for a glove box is provided to move a rod member by a rotary arm according to the operation of a push button and to improve marketability by minimizing the operational noise. CONSTITUTION: A push type locking device for a glove box comprises a button assembly housing(10), a rod assembly, a rotary arm(50), a push button(60), an upper cover, and a locking member(80). The rotary arm includes a pressurizing pin(52) on the upper end of a body. The push button includes a restoring spring(61) on the front of the button assembly housing and a pressurizing unit(62) is positioned on the front in the pressurizing pin. A guide unit(63) of the push button is penetrated through a penetration hole(82) of an upper part of the body and a latching pin(32) of a rod member(30) is penetrated through an inner side in a lower clamping unit(83). |
