PURPOSE: A method for dephosphorizing and desulfurizing molten steel is provided to reduce additional processes for treating phosphorus and sulfur and to efficiently remove the phosphorus and sulfur from the molten steel. CONSTITUTION: A method for dephosphorizing and desulfurizing molten steel contains a step of inputting soda ashes composed of 40-55 wt% of sodium carbonate and 2545 wt% of sodium hydrogen carbonate. The soda ashes contain 20-40 wt% of sodium.
