PURPOSE: A light emitting device is provided to minimize optical loss generated in a lower side direction of a light emitting device by forming a zinc oxide seed pattern. CONSTITUTION: A zinc oxide seed pattern(S) is formed on a substrate(105). A zinc oxide nano rod(N) is formed on the zinc oxide seed pattern. A first conductive semiconductor layer(112) is formed on the zinc oxide seed pattern and nano rod. An active layer(114) is formed on the first conductive semiconductor layer. A second conductive semiconductor layer(116) is formed on the active layer.
