METHDO FOR PROVIDING VOICE SERVICE AND MOBILE TERMINAL FOR PERFORM THE SAME

PURPOSE: A voice service providing method and a mobile terminal performing the method are provided to supply a voice service by directly accessing a UTRAN(UMTS Radio Access Network) without an LTE network when a mobile terminal in an LTE(Long Term Evolution) network uses a voice service. CONSTITUTION: A first communication unit(110) transceives a wireless signal by accessing a first network providing only a packet service. A second communication unit(120) transceives the wireless signal by accessing a second network providing both the packet service and a CS(Circuit Switch) service. A storage unit(140) stores system information of the second network system received from the first network through the first communication system. A call processing unit(150) accesses the second network by using the system information of the second network stored in the storage unit when a call request for a voice service is generated. The call processing unit receives the voice service through the second network.
