PURPOSE: A rod guide of a shock absorber is provided to generate a damping force in Low amplitude and high frequency by increasing a friction force between a rod guide and a piston rod. CONSTITUTION: A rod guide(30) of a shock absorber comprises a cylindrical bush(31), an end stepped part(34), and a ring member(32). The bush is attached to the inner circumference of the rod guide to be in touch with a piston rod(16). The stepped part is formed on the inner circumference of the rod guide. The ring member is inserted in between the bush and end stepped part and adheres to the bush.
