An autonomous mobile oil spraying robot (10), comprising a drive system (12) configured to propel the robot across terrain; an oil reservoir (14) configured to store oil or an oil-like substance, said oil reservoir having an inlet (14a) and an outlet (14b); a spraying device (16), connected to the outlet of said oil reservoir and comprising at least one atomizing nozzle, said nozzle being disposed near terrain level and being configured to release a mist of atomized oil above the terrain; and a controller (18), operatively connected to the drive system, and configured to make the robot move autonomously around the terrain by controlling the drive system. |
