PURPOSE: An electrowetting display and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to embed a driver fiber in an electrowetting cell array sheet, thereby facilitating easy and efficient production of an electrowetting display. CONSTITUTION: An electrowetting display comprises an electrowetting cell array sheet(100), a driver fiber(200), an adhesion unit, an insulating resilient material, and a sealing sheet(160). The electrowetting cell array sheet includes a base sheet(100), pixel electrodes(130), source data line electrodes(120), an electrowetting insulation layer(140), and pixel cells(170). The drive fiber is arranged in valleys between cell divisions to cross over data line electrodes and includes a fiber and drivers disposed on the fiber to drive each pixel cell. The adhesion unit maintains stable electrical contacts of driver electrodes. The insulating resilient material fills the valley between the pixel cells on the electrowetting cell array sheet and facilitates easy adhesion to the sealing sheet on the top. The sealing sheet has water, oil, and top electrodes.
