PURPOSE: A remote controller, a display device using the remote controller, and a control method thereof are provided to control a display device using pen input. CONSTITUTION: A pressure button is formed on the surface of a remote controller. A sensor unit(130) senses pressurization of the pressure button. A wireless communication unit(110) performs bidirectional communication with at least one display device. A control unit(170) generates text information of the remote controller according to the sensed information of the sensor unit. A memory unit(160) stores address information with respect to the display device in which pairing is performed.
