PURPOSE: A function execution device of a portable terminal and a method thereof are provided to successively execute the complex function of the portable terminal with one operation. CONSTITUTION: A movement sensing unit(130) senses the movement of a portable terminal. A memory(110) includes a movement mapping table mapping a complex function executing two or more functions corresponding to the specific movement of the portable terminal. A control unit(100) successively executes the complex function by confirming the complex function set in the sensed movement in the movement mapping table from the movement sensing unit. A display unit(145) displays the function executed in the control unit.
