PURPOSE: A base station and a non-real time data transmission method thereof are provided to dynamically control the length of a sleep interval according to the efficiency of data transmission and a packet transmission delay state for a sleep cycle. CONSTITUTION: A base station(21) determines a sleep ratio relationship according to a sleep interval, a sleep cycle interval, and a data transmission interval. The base station determines a transmission efficiency relationship according to a listening interval and the data transmission interval. The base station determines a packet delay relationship according to a delay interval of data transmission to a mobile device. The base station determines an interval value according to the packet delay relationship, the transmission efficiency relationship, and the sleep ratio relationship.
