PURPOSE: A spindle motor is provided to improve extraction force for combination between a sleeve and a base by placing the sleeve on a combination surface axis direction bottom end of the sleeve and the base by using a stopper. CONSTITUTION: A shaft(11) composes a rotation center of a rotor. A sleeve(22) rotatably supports a shaft by accepting the shaft. A base(21) is combined with the sleeve. A stopper(50) places the sleeve on a combination surface axis direction bottom end of the sleeve and the base. The stopper is protruding from the combination surface axis direction bottom end.
