The method involves partially embedding an insert element i.e. sleeve (30) in a hole by moving a partial section under a retention of a contact with the insert element from a hollow chamber (26) and toward another hollow chamber (22). The partial section is arranged in the former chamber, and the hole formed by piercing a planar molding part (40) with a mandrel (12). A component is formed by deformation of the molding part through a molding tool. A partial section of the insert element is moved by screwing movement of the partial section in the latter chamber, and the component is cooled. The insert element is formed in form of a threaded insert with an internal thread. The mold part is designed as a continuous filament-strengthened mold part with a thermoplastic matrix. An independent claim is also included for a molding tool for performing a method for manufacturing a component with an insert element using a molding tool. |
