The circuit (4) has two submodules (22) arranged in series and applying electric power from an electrical power source (8) i.e. battery, over an inductor. Each submodule comprises a single-phase half bridge at input side and a single-phase full bridge at load-side. The half bridge and the full bridge are connected parallel to an intermediate circuit capacitor. Two electrical interfaces are provided for releasable electrical and mechanical connection of the submodules with series connection, respectively. |
