METHOD FOR INCREASING PRODUCTION RATE OF ACTIVE FORM OF BMP7

PURPOSE: A method for preparing active BMP7(bone morphogenetic protein 7) is provided to overexpress PACEsol protein which exists in BMP7-expressing cells, and to increase dimer BMP7 production in a cell or in vivo. CONSTITUTION: A method for increasing production rate of active BMP7 with a size of 30-40 kDa comprises: a step of culturing BMP7-expressing cells in a serum-free medium containing L-glutamine and dextran; a step of tranducing a PACE(Paired basic Amino acid Cleaving Enzyme) gene in the cell; and a step of culturing the cell and prepare the active BMP7. The PACE gene is prepared by cleaving a gene corresponding to a transmembrane domain and a cytoplasmic tail. PACE gene is denoted by sequence number 2, and is originated from human cells.
