<p>PURPOSE: A device for driving a motor and a disk is provided to form a motor to be thin and to obtain the axial length of a range in which a radial gap exist and the axial length of a range in which the component of a shaft is fixed. CONSTITUTION: A motor includes a rotating part(122) and a stopping part(121). The rotating part has a rotor magnet(32), and has a sleeve part(4) between an upper plate part and a lower plate part. The stopping part includes a stator(22) facing the rotor magnet. The stopping part includes the component of a shaft, the upper plate part, and the lower plate part. The component includes an inner shaft part and an outer shaft part(61). The upper plate forms a single member with one side of the component, and is extended from the upper side of the one side outside a diametral direction. The lower plate part is extended from the lower side of the other side of the component outside the diametral direction. A lubricant is continuously among an upper thrust gap, a radial gap, and a lower thrust gap. An upper sealing part is placed on the upper boundary surface of the lubricant, and a lower sealing part is placed on the lower boundary surface of the lubricant. A lower thrust dynamic pressure generating groove row is formed on one of the lower surface of the sleeve part and the upper surface of the lower plate part which form the lower thrust gap. An upper and lower radial dynamic pressure generating groove row are formed on one of the inner peripheral surface of the sleeve part and the outer peripheral surface of the outer shaft parts. An axial range for a fixing portion in which the inner shaft part is tightly fit with the outer shaft part is included in a range between the upper and lower radial dynamic pressure generating groove row.</p> |
