MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT SUPPORTING METHOD USING A SHIMPLATE

PURPOSE: A machine equipment supporting method using a shim plate is provided to prevent damage caused by vibration and to reduce noise even though repeated rotation is existed when operating machine equipment. CONSTITUTION: A machine equipment supporting method using a shim plate(40) comprises: a step of arranging a supporter(20) in a FPSO(Floating Production Storage and Offloading) or on the top surface of a deck(10) of the vessel; a step(30) of seating the machine equipment on the top surface of the fixed supporter; a step of filling a gap between the top surface of the supporter and the bottom surface of the machine equipment by inserting the shim plate into the gap; and a step of fixing the machine equipment to a supporting target object by coupling a bolt(50) penetrating through the fixed supporter and the seated machine equipment.
