PURPOSE: A method for forming an inner conduit of a metal member and a method for manufacturing a motor case are provided to artificially form the inner conduit by modifying the surface of the one metal member without assembling an inner skin and an outer skin. CONSTITUTION: A method for forming an inner conduit of a metal member is as follows: a step of preparing the metal member to form the inner conduit; a step of forming a recessed groove(140) on the surface of the metal member to insert a probe(210) for friction surface modification; and a step of forming the continuous conduit in the metal member by friction stirring a predetermined length of the recessed groove while rotating the probe.
