<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ocular light stimulus apparatus performing reliable local ERG (Electro Retino Gram) examination with a simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: A stimulus light from a stimulus light source 101 is projected to the retina of an ocular fundus under examination to stimulate the retina in localized fashion to perform the local ERG examination with a bioelectric signal from the retina. The stimulus light source 101 is mounted on a movable block 102, and moves in an xy surface perpendicular to a light axis 130 by moving an operating lever 111 to perform light stimulation while changing a projection position. The spot size of the stimulus light can also be varied by rotating an index panel 121 having a plurality of openings with different diameters using a motor 120 to allow the stimulus light to pass through a selected opening and to projected onto the retina.
