SYNGAS DIRECT METHANATION CATALYST AND ITS PREPARATION METHOD

PURPOSE: A direct methanation catalyst for synthetic gas, and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve efficiency of direct methanation of synthetic gas by idspersibility increase, specific surface area increase, high reaction activation, poisoning resistance, and reaction durability. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a direct methanation catalyst for synthetic gas comprises the steps of: pulverizing a precursor to powder; re-pulverizing after pressurizing the pulverized precursor powder; mixing sulfur compound, a solvent, and the re-pulverized sample; reacting the mixed material under an atmosphere of high pressure H2 gas; and activating the catalyst manufactured by reacting. The precursor is ammonium tetra thio molybdate.
