PURPOSE: A thread transport system is provided to smoothly supply threads to a thread supplier of a circular knitting machine by providing a driving device on a thread transport tray and knit the wrap threads using a circular knitting machine. CONSTITUTION: A thread transport system for a circular knitting machine comprises a circular knitting machine including a needle cylinder and at least one thread supplier which is disposed in a circle shape on the needle cylinder; at least one thread transport tray which is wound up by two or more separate threads and includes a driving device which rotate-drives the thread transport tray to supply the thread to the thread supplier through a thread transport pathway wherein the tray; and a control unit which is electrically connected to the driving device and controls a rotational speed of the thread transport tray by generating a driving signal transmitted to the driving device.
