PURPOSE: An idle band utilization system using a connection recognition signal is provided to transmit the connection recognition signal by converting the strength of the connection recognition signal based on radio wave arrival distance. CONSTITUTION: A first idle band device(300) searches an available channel by using a spectrum sensing function, a database connection function, and a beacon transceiving function. The first idle band device uses the searched available channel. A second idle band device(310) does not execute a searching function for the available channel by using the spectrum sensing function, the database connection function, or the beacon transceiving function. The second idle band device recognizes the available channel used in the first idle band device based on a connection recognition signal transmitted from the first idle band device.
