<p>PURPOSE: A fan unit for a heat exchanger is provided for a splash protecting screen to face a water which overflows to an external side of a screen through an outside extrusion deflection formation to an outside of an injection aperture during operation. CONSTITUTION: A fan unit for a heat exchanger comprises a plate-type support structure or a shroud(2), an electric fan(6), and a splash protecting screen(11). The plate-type support structure or the shroud has a main opening(3) limiting a path(3) for an airflow. The electric fan comprises an electric drive motor(7) and an impeller(8). The electric drive motor is fixed to shrouds(2,5) or the support structure within a domain of the main opening. The impeller is arranged inside the main opening. The splash protecting screen is related to the motor separated from the impeller, and fixed to the support structure or the shroud. The splash protecting screen materially is perpendicular during use. The splash protecting screen limits at least one injection aperture(12) suitable for passing an airflow for cooling the motor in a bottom surface during operation. The splash protecting screen has an outside extrusion deflection formation(13) which is designed in order to face a water which overflows to an external side of the screen to an outside of the injection aperture during operation.</p> |
