摘要 PURPOSE: A combustion type regeneration system for a diesel particulate filter using combustion gas recirculation is provided to effectively regenerate the diesel particulate filter, which falls into disuse or is in poor maintenance, thereby recycling a particulate matter collecting apparatus. CONSTITUTION: A combustion type regeneration system for a diesel particulate filter includes a combustor(3), a blower(2), a mass flow sensor(1), a first temperature sensor(4a), a second temperature sensor(4b), a third temperature sensor(4c), a fourth temperature sensor(4d), a first and a second oxygen sensor(7a,7b), a combustion gas recirculating pipe(10), and a regeneration controller(8). The combustor is installed at the upper portion of a particulate matter collecting apparatus in order to oxidize particulate matters accumulated on the particulate filter(6a). The blower supplies air for combusting fuel with the combustor. The mass flow sensor measures the mass of the air supplied to the blower. The first temperature sensor is installed between the combustor and the particulate matter collecting apparatus in order to detect whether or not the flame of the combustor disappears. The second temperature sensor measures the temperatures of the first temperature sensor, and the front and the rear of the particulate filter. The third temperature sensor is equipped between a diesel oxidation catalyst(6b) and the particulate filter. The fourth temperature sensor is installed at the rear end of the particulate filter in order to calculate the oxidation progress rate of the collected particulate matters. The first and the second oxygen sensor measure the oxygen concentration of the particulate filter in order to adjust combustion conditions for the combustor. The combustion gas recirculating pipe connects the rear side of the particulate filter and the front side of the blower. The regeneration controller controls fuel combustion conditions in the combustor.
