PURPOSE: A glass composition for a transparent frit material is provided to ensure eco-friendly property and to improve chemical durability and permeability. CONSTITUTION: A glass composition for a transparent frit material contains 25-40 mol% of SiO2, 25-40 mol% of B2O3, and 20-35 mol% of RO(R is Ba and Zn) without PbO and Na2O. The composition further contains 5 mol% of T2O, wherein T is selected from the group consisting of K, Rb, and Cs. The composition also contains 20 mol% a zinc phosphate compound which is selected from the group consisting of Zn3(PO4)2·4H2O, Zn3(PO4)2·2H2O and Zn2P2O7. The composition also contains 5 mol% or less of metal oxide which is selected from the group consisting of MgO, CaO, SrO, Sb2O3, Ga2O3, La2O3, Al2O3, Y2O3, and In2O3. |
