PURPOSE: A battery pack having a protection module package is provided to simplify the structure of the battery pack, and to stably protect a protection circuit device from external environment such as an external impact or moisture. CONSTITUTION: A battery pack(100) comprises: a protection module package cell(10) with a positive electrode plate, and a negative electrode plate which is connected to a negative electrode tab(16) and a positive electrode tab(18) to package a protection circuit device protecting the battery cell; a protection module package exposing a terminal pad(60) onto an upper part; and an upper case(80) which has an openings(81, 83) to expose the terminal pad of the protection module package, and is coupled to the battery cell to cover the protection module package.
