PURPOSE: A system for providing a medical image and a method thereof are provided to allow a user work list management module to supply a user work list through a work list interface based on a role of a logged user, thereby supplying the user work list which is composed of functions necessary for each user. CONSTITUTION: A login management module(140) extracts a role of a login user. A user work list management module(120) provides a user work list corresponding to the login user through a work list interface which provides different functions based on the role. A display controller module(130) displays detail information for the selected user work list and a medical image by using one or more viewer modules(110).
