<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the dust seal structure for a dust seal which slide-contacts with the outer circumference of a piston rod movably inserted into a cylinder and thereby scrapes off the dust adhering to the outer circumference of the piston rod. <P>SOLUTION: In the dust seal structure comprising the dust seal 7 which is of an annular shape, slide-contacts with the outer circumference of the piston rod 3 movably inserted into the cylinder 1, and thereby scrapes off the dust adhering to the outer circumference of the piston rod 3, an annular sub-dust seal 11 which slide-contacts with the outer circumference of the piston rod 3 is provided on the opposite side to the cylinder across the dust seal 7, the sub-dust seal 11 being diametrically movably retained to the cylinder 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
