PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a long carbon fiber sheet which has a good quality even in a nonwoven fabric-like or paper-like shape, and to provide a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: Provided is the carbon fiber sheet in which a carbon fiber sheet (a) is bound to a carbon fiber sheet (b), wherein, the terminal end portion of the carbon fiber sheet (a) overlaps with the initial end portion of the carbon fiber sheet (b), penetrated holes (x) are formed in the superimposed portion, binding yarns (m) pass through the penetrated holes (x), and the penetrated holes (x) are bound with the binding yarns (m). Provided also is the method for producing the carbon fiber sheet, which includes binding penetrated holes (X) with binding yarns (M) to bind carbon fiber sheet precursors (A) and (B), and then carbonizing the bound carbon fiber sheet precursors.
