The circuitry has two sub modules (22) connected in series and related to an electrical power source i.e. battery, delivering electric power over an inductance i.e. coil. The sub modules comprise a single-phase half bridge and a single-phase full bridge connected at a direct voltage-side and parallel to an intermediate circuit capacitor (34). A switch (116) in the sub modules blocks movement of the intermediate circuit capacitor of the sub modules if voltage (64) exceeds a predetermined value at the intermediate circuit capacitor. An independent claim is also included for a method for actuating a power converter circuitry. |
