<p>The furniture (1) has a seat surface (2) and/or a reclining surface formed by an upper side (8) of bar-like elements (6). The bar-like elements are arranged as a unit of tangential upright elements. The tangential upright elements are held together by outer elements. The tangential upright elements with lower sides are supported on a flat elastic base.
