PURPOSE: An EGR(Exhaust Gas Regeneration) control system of the gasoline/diesel fuel mixing compression ignition combustion engine and a method thereof are provided to control the combustion time of the gasoline/diesel fuel mixing compression ignition combustion engine and minimize producing particulate matter, thereby preventing the operability of EGR system from deteriorating by using the particulate matter. CONSTITUTION: An EGR control system of the gasoline/diesel fuel mixing compression ignition combustion engine include a plurality of cylinders(101~104) and an exhaust gas line(200). The cylinder includes a fuel injector(101a, 102a, and 103a). Exhaust gas, which is discharged by combusting fuel from the cylinder, flows in the exhaust gas line.
