THE BACKLIGHT UNIT

PURPOSE: A backlight unit is provided to reduce manufacturing cost by forming the backlight unit only by the reflecting layer without the light guide plate. CONSTITUTION: A light emitting modules (130,170) are formed within the bottom chassis (110). The light emitting unit comprises the light emitting module and the reflecting sheet (120). An optical sheet (220) is formed on the shielding chassis (200). The chassis has the first inclined part (117) in the peripheral region on both sides. The chassis has the second slope part (115) in the center.
