PURPOSE: A device for molten metal surface level stabilization in the continuous casting and a method thereof are provided to solve molten metal surface instability due to large bubble, thereby stabilizing the level of mold molten metal level. CONSTITUTION: A device for molten metal surface level stabilization in the continuous casting includes a valve, a gas supplying part(110), a vibration applying part(120), and an operating part(150). The valve is mounted on a nozzle so as to control the flow amount of molten metal which is supplied from a tundish to a mold. The gas supply part injects the non-active gas into the valve. The vibration applying part mounts a vibrator, which applies the vibration to the valve, on the valve. The operating part determines the operating time of the vibration applying part and the gas supplying part, and injects non-active gas through the gas supplying part, and then applies the vibration to the valve through the vibration applying part. The operation factor collecting unit collects operation factors, and transfers the collected operation factors to the operation unit.
