THE BACKLIGHT UNIT

PURPOSE: A backlight unit is provided to improve light guiding performance by having different reflecting characteristic according to the region of the bottom chassis. CONSTITUTION: A light emitting modules (130,170) are formed within the bottom chassis. The light emitting unit comprises the light emitting module and the diffused reflection layer (120). An optical sheet (220) and a display panel (230) are formed on the shielding chassis (200). Reflecting layer having different reflecting characteristic is formed in the side (110b) and bottom surface (110a) of the bottom chassis.
