<p>The module (10) has a gas bag (12) with a wall that includes a pleat (22) in a state of the gas bag. The pleat is formed such that opposite sections (25, 27) of the wall lie against each other. A holder e.g. separation bolt (24), holds the opposite sections together and fixes the pleat. The holder is passively or actively releasable in response to a signal, so as to allow the gas bag to reaches another state, where the pleat is opened in the latter state. The gas bag exhibits a bulge in a cut, where the bulge is arranged radially outside of one section of the gas bag wall that forms the pleat.</p> |
