摘要

The present invention refers to an autonomous system for evaluating the stability in humans using the movements of the head. The proposed system results from the analogy between the human standing position and the inverted pendulum, in such a manner that the system along with an algorithm use the stability criteria of control theory applied to the mathematical model representative of the head movements of a person subjected to the stimulus-response technique, where the system is able to evaluate the stability of a person being studied in a daily environment or in a periodic check up with the physician, without going to a specific laboratory, applying the same test to individuals of different ages.
