PURPOSE: A composition for suppressing PTK6(protein tyrosine kinase) is provided to induce an autogenic inhibition mechanism of PTK6, and to effectively suppress proliferation and metastasis of cancer cells. CONSTITUTION: A composition for preventing or treating cancer contains a compound selected from the group consisting of compounds of chemical formulas 3-9 as an active ingredient. The compound specifically binds to SH3 domain of PTK6. The cancer is breast cancer or colon cancer. The composition suppresses cancer metastasis.
